Hey All,

For some time, we have had public profile pages on 8baller, these are the pages on the main site that show player stats, stars, avatars, and login info.

Well i have expanded this to now show some additonal info including your favourite things, about you, and your a picture of you.

Iv attached a preview of my public profile so you can see the new info and how its displayed, or simply go see my profle http://www.8baller.co.uk/players/1/Dbl%2...D1%8F.html

Theres a link at the bottom of all profiles for people to login and update thier public profiles.

Give it a go and let me know what you think.

Good to see you fill it out.

Il trial it for a few days and then il try spread it round the site more to get more players filling out the additonal info.

Im also open to suggestions as to what to put in the new additional info section...

Wheres the Hobby part? Before you login it says that you can also talk about a hobby and the box isn't there lol

It wont let me upload my Msn pic in, keeps saying file size is too big and maximum is 200KB...but my picture is 182KB Confused

Not to mention that it's also a JPG

When clicking "Clicking Here" to update your profile, can you let it first display the Login part so you may login and THEN update your profile. Other wise you end up saying the boxes with no info about yourself that you may have already done before.

Hobbies, yeah I know.

Your pic - jpg is fine.... It doesn't mention you crnt upload coz it's jpg it's complaining about the size of your file. Try reducing your picture to something smaller. IE physically make the pic smaller in hieght and width. 183kb might be over 200kb as "size on disk", just try reduce it to something like 150kb and see if it uploads.

Login bit. What you on about? The click here link takes you to login form if your not logged in. If you are logged in, or when you login your then taken to the edit info pages. If it's been filled in previosly you will see what you have entered. If it's your first time the boxes will be empty.

Well thats odd because when I log in and go to my profile straight away, all the info is there. When i'm logged in + click on "Clicking Here" from someone elses profile and it takes me to edit my profile, the info isn't there.

I'll see if I can also make my pic a bit smaller and see if it works then

lol now I'm trying to upload something that is 3.87KB and .jpg and it says that it's not a jpg...wtf? it is Confused

Dude I shortened my 243KB Msn pic to 94KB and it's still saying it's to large. All I have in my pic is my head now...my head must be to big! lol

i have 2 problems
One, my pic i uploaded (well tried to upload) is less than 100KB - wont upload
secondly it wont let ,e post html links to youtube.
