Straight Pool Saturdays Tournament

Hello fellow straightballers!

Vii and I will be hosting a regular Straight Pool singles tournament every Saturday. First one starting tonight! The size of the tournament will vary but we will aim to take 32 players.

• Location: Room 5
• Time: 4am Sun UK time (11pm Sat NY time, 5pm Sun NZ time)
  

Tournament details:

• Straight Pool
• Tournament size: 8, 16, or 32 positions.
• Best of 3 games
• No guide
• No break (cannot sink off the break)
  

15 minutes prior to start Vi and/or myself (LionMod) will announce in every room the tournament is about to take place and we will be recruiting for available positions.

Once the tournament is underway we will update this thread so you can contribute. Let see how it goes

You try to do something nice... organize and nice tournament for the late nighters, keep things nice and entertaining, and what happens... you end up with spammers, jerks, jackasses and every bloody idiot on the fucking planet who wants to be an immature jackass on that very night... This is a real shame! We will be very careful who we let into tournaments in the future and instant disqualifications will be given to those who abuse the rules.

Player must have and show respect for the hosts of any tournament otherwise you will face account bans as it ruins what could have and should have been a friendly, enjoyable competition.

Tournaments are now suspended until further notice!

This was sad reading. I was there last night, but l guess l was too busy to have fun with chat and play, so l didn't even notice it was a tournament like that at all. Too bad, l would love to enjoy too. Hopefully you will give it another try It's really sad and disturbing with all these abusers/spammers!
