This is just a slight detailed description of the page and it's many features and functions. Included are some screen shots of the page for visuals. Let's get started!

How to Log In
- Logging into the page should be your first step. You log in by using your 8baller game details (Your Username and Password). If you don't have any game details, try going to http://www.8baller.co.uk and registering.

Once you have logged in, you should see a Welcome page with a few things on there. Here's what they are:

  • (#) Teams- the number of teams currently created, clicking this will take you to the page containing a list of all the 8Baller teams.
  • Create your own team- Allows you to create your own team and compete against other teams to be the best on the site.
  • Teams Leaderboard - Takes you to the leader board where you you will see all the teams ranked by team rating from highest to lowest.
  • Teams Latest News- Updates and notifications are posted in this section once a change have been made. This is helpful to team leaders because once logged in, they are able to stay up to date on the latest team feature.

Joining a team: There are three ways to join a team

(1) Clicking "(#) Teams" will take you to the page containing all the teams. You will see three categories.
  • Top Rated Teams- A list of the teams ranked from the highest to the lowest.
  • Most Popular Teams- A list of teams containing the most members to the least.
  • Newest Teams- A list of all the newest, most recent teams created.

Clicking “Join” next to a team’s name will allow you access to join that team.

(2) Selecting a team by clicking on its name will take you to that team’s Offical Page. In doing so, you may click the “Join This Team” link as indicated by the arrow below.

(3) If you would like to take a shortcut, as you log into the teams page, on your bottom left, you should see a box asking for a Team ID. If you know the team ID of the desired team, you may enter it and click join.

After "Joined" is clicked, you will get a notification saying that you are awaiting approval by the team leader, and you will be re-directed back to the team's home page. Once approved, you will be notified via e-mail that you have successfully joined the desired team.

Creating a team
- To create a team, click "Create a Team". Simple, right? Here's the difficult part for most. Filling out your team profile.

.jpg  Team7.jpg (Size: 82.26 KB / Downloads: 5)
  • Team Name- Name your team! Keep it trendy and make it stand out [Note: Teams name can be changed by editing the teams profile. Please keep in mind that any teams with inappropriate names will be removed].
  • Team Tag- A little tag which may go into any part of a member's game nickname and makes you stand out. Keep it short and simple. For instance, The Jungle has [TJ] as their team tag, and Sams Rams have [Ram] as their tag. Simple but stands out.
  • About Team- This is just a brief description of what your team is about, your reasons for having it, any goals you might have set for the team and the like. Short, sweet and simple makes it easier for a prospective team member to read.
  • Required Rating- This sets the rating for users to join. You have an option to set it at either 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 or 90. Anyone joining with a rating lower than the required rating will not be allowed to do so. If you are in a team, and your rating drops below the set required rating, you will automatically be removed from the team.
  • Create Team- After making sure your teams profile is properly filled out, click "Create Team" and off you go!

After you have joined/created your team
-Once approved in the team, your teams home page will have this box on the left hand side, giving you options to either visit your team's profile page or remove yourself from the team if you ever need to do so.

-Once you become the Team Leader of your newly created team, the left hand side of your teams home page will look like this, giving you different team options.

  • View the team's profile
  • Edit Team Info- Any changes which you would like to make in terms of required rating, changing the description, changing the border colors, changing the team tag or team name can be done by clicking "Edit".
  • Manage Team Members- Need to remove a team member? You may do so by managing your members.
  • Arrange Tournament- This will redirect you to the tournament section of our forum page, allowing you to organize tournaments with other teams and view results of past tournaments.
  • Delete Your Team

On the bottom of the page, you will notice a Notification Box. This is where users will show up when they are awaiting approval to join your team. You have the option to approve or reject them. Please keep in mind that if cheaters are found within your team, you risk loosing your account and your team. Approve with caution.

There you have it. A few bits and bobs of the Teams page explained in detail. Hope you find this useful!
