Team members notification

Hello 8baller.

Wonder if there is anything available on the site to send a notification to all the team members?
If not, that would be extremely useful to add such functionality (email, ingame, forum message (after team's login).. whatever possible).

1. Announce tournaments, events
2. Send some ideas
3. Ask for a membership subscription approval (so no "old/dead" members on the list)

I used to have an "email members" section but not many people used it. I then also had a team messages bit on the teams page where you could send a message and it showed up on the page and members could reply to you after been alerted via email that the leader posted a new message.

Again, wasn't used too much.

What kind of system would you like to see? How would you like it to work?

Well, whatever you explained as outdated functions sound quite OK to me. Wonder that it was not used, but I guess the popularity of "notify" depends of "needs" to notify. If team communicates, they will use it. If they have many tournaments, it's nice to announce via email (not only on the thread).
I guess forum replaces the notify things...

Is it possible to send ingame message to all online members?

Again, send emal to all team members sound enough for me, however, I am not sure it will be used very often. May be sometimes, for organisational issues.

yh i agree with imap..the system of being able to send s msg to online team mates, sounds the best for me...and one more thing could be added for offline,team mates is that wenever they login,a msg will appear on their screen..

this would really be very helpful in tourneys, to get and remind players about it..coz we have seen that its a common thing that the playing lineup listed on the thread,doesn't completely turn up..and mostly its the case of them forgetting about it, and they are the ones who dont have accounts on forums or arent much active there..

And this system will also help TL and CL to communicate to each member of their team..

It like going around to all members that on-line and searching them all the time, just when you can just send like a PM to all (jungle) members.

there was a buddy list before... if it were still there people could add their team members and check for online players at the tourney time bcoz mostly players are absent at tourney time lol... there should be an option to chat with them there rather then searching them in rooms... alternate is that v should have them on msn or yahoo ...
