The 8baller Association of Tournament Hosts
Hold it! Before you say this is sad (which I know it is) just hear it out.
Many times I have seen new players, or players who clearly have no idea how to host, try and host. There have been many occasions where I have had to take over somebody elses tournament, simply because they don't know what they are doing. What I am proposing is 'The 8baller Association of Tournament Hosts" where each member is recognised by users of 8baller to be able to actually host. We need to think of a way in which these people can be recognised by all users on the site but personally I believe that this way everyone knows that when they have a tournament, they know it will be organised well. When there are new people learning how to become hosts, they could learn of someone more experienced. Everything to do with this has a way to help 8baller tournaments and I think it is a suggestion worth thinking about. |

RE: The 8baller Association of Tournament Hosts
That's something else I meant to say ..... some who try and host a tournament have never accessed these forums before meaning they cannot post scores or look how to do it. Anyway, its in your hands. Thanks for considering it

RE: The 8baller Association of Tournament Hosts
At least coming to the professional way.
there will be a list of hosts in here or somewhere of regular, good and experienced hosts.(for team and random both tornies) then all users can know who can host well and who is new. i saw also lot of tornies which canceled and some time i take control for hosting in some tornies. only good and experienced hosts will be liable to host any torny. GOOD IDEA BUT NEED TO IMPLEMENT. Hope you will make a list of authorized hosts soon. |

RE: The 8baller Association of Tournament Hosts
Guys, whatever plan we will come to, we can't force groups of players to compete in a tourney way. Even it's random
![]() We are still looking into this, but we can't avoid so called unprofessional tourneys. We might just have professional ones recognized, and that's all. Hope I made myself clear. Should you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to state those. Once again, thanks for your ideas, we appreciate it ![]() Cheers The chain is no stronger than its weakest link... |
