Abusing issue

Hi to all 8baller’s Administrators and Moderators,

As you all know that I am playing on this site from 2 years now. In start I was very happy that at least it’s a friendly and family site, because of its rules restrictions like abusing etc.

From last few months I am feeling it that some rules (especially restriction on abusing) are broken badly. The bad thing is that not only some players are doing this but also some mods.
Everyone knows that “fuck you” is in restricted words but lot of players using it like “fu”. It is only an example of one word, and there are lot of others like this (ffs, dk head, mf, mofo, wtf and some more).
So, I am requesting to 8baller’s team (who makes site rules, terms and restrictions) that please take a strict action on it.
I have lot of proves in shape of print screen but at the moment I am not uploading any of them only because I don’t want them naked and mess with them who are doing this.
I have noticed that sometime some players did this in presence of a mod and they didn’t take any action against them, that’s why this thing is increasing day by day. There is one more thing also noticed that few mods often gave some relaxation or concession to their friends in this matter, like; they (mods) often ignore it when any of their friends did such. And when if anyone asked those (mods) that why you didn’t ban him/her or said anything to that abusing person they (mods) replayed “we warned him/her”.
Now question is; sometime you banned any player without warning and sometime you just warned only, is it a fair deal?
At the end my request is same again that if you (8baller’s team) want this site a friendly and family site so, please take an action on it and the rules/laws must be equal for everyone.

nice thread mate but words like ffs, wtf are not abusing and anyway if any one has a problem with some one abusing they would report thats why there is a report system.

thats the reason u baned many time coz u cant understand exactly what is behind the words.

so try to understand what i am saying, we all know about report system but here its not the issue, if u cant understand so stay away or dont try to interrupt.

Whether I agree with Moeen or not .... I know that he understands the reporting system. I believe he is looking for more of an answer than that.

I will try to explain. You see Moeen point of mod team is to help players to familiarize themselves with the rules and proper use of site and to protect site and users from any abusing, encluding hacking,cheating, swearing, or insults between players. We do best we can, but u must understand that our goal is not to hawe just 20 users who don't swear when they talk and who play fair and stright. Problem is: a lot of ppl (special young one) swear when they talk just like u said with words wtf,ffs, fk, etc but this is just a way how they talk. There is no intention to insult someone. Some of users call each other mf or dk head and they do that all the time with no bad feelings between those users. This is wrong way to show how cool they are, or how danger they are, or how what-ever-they-want-to-show they are, but Mod team are not Cultural Institution of speech to penalize every single wrong word they use. We just trying to keep it at a low level and if they start personally insulting then we react. I am the one who always ask to not use those words in the lobby even if there is no intention to insult someone, and most of players knows that. Lobby is a public place and we must keep it clear and decent. Everyone is free to talk each other like they want in game or in PM, until that is good for both sides. Warning is a common treatment for small infractions.
Racism, bad personal insults, repeating the same mistakes after the warnings, attacks on the moderators and site, constantly spamming even after warning, offensive nicknames, multiple accounts, cheating with other programs, free wins... this is something when we use bann or sitebann.
I hope u understand now that mod team can't use power of banning for every small error because we will lose point of this penalty and we will lose a lot of players to. This is friendly site and Mod team act in that spirit to so we will not use our power to make terror here. BTW every single member can ask form other one to not use bad words. That is something quite normally. If that don't work, then u have Report system and Mod team read and take action about every report we get. Sometime it is just warning ...yeah, but there is a lot of accounts banned by report. So my friend, we are doing best we can to keep this site friendly and decent and I can assure you we are really, really good in our job. If u just try to compare our site with other game sites you can see that by your self.

Very good view for the Team to have on this issue. A modern day British teenager if they miss an easy shot is very likely to say 'fk sake' or if one of their friends wins a very close game might even call them 'fkin w4nker' but no intent is needed. One argument could be that there are very little kids on this site playing but in that case at that age they should be supervised by an adult anyway. If you said 'fk' and instantly got banned, 8baller wouldn't even have 20 members, it'd be dead. If the swearing is an issue for you, the only resolution I can think of would be to block anybody who swears.

i know what issues can be up and what are they look like, coz i am also a part of this site now and i watched lot of things during my time on this site.and i know this site is much much better then others,

i can understand this cultural difference Jaksa bro. but in my words there are too many issues still pending.

now try to understand this;
a master or a teacher always like a role model for his students, same like parents for their children, if parents gone wild then what can u expect from their children.

...and what does this fall under? Just having a little fun? ...banter? .....I'm no prude by any means and this doesn't bother me like it bothers others, but everyone had the right to express their feelings here on how they look at what is being said. I hear this all day long. I'm just curious of opinions on this one while there's an open discussion going on
