PM can't be conditioned with activity on forum because sometime players just want info or help and they come to forums just to send PM to TL or mod or admin to get help. We can't forbid someone to ask for help just because he don't post around forums. There is a lot of pasive forum users who just read info about tournaments, team activity, site announcements etc. I hope u all understand we must allow to those users to send PM if they need something.

About negative ratings from unknown users with no explenation: "waiting time" in not bad idea but that will not stop someone to give negative rate. If he can make new acc just to do that, he can post 10 nonsense posts and give you negative rate again. Mean, evil and stupid act but we are not all same. So there is no benefits of such a coding Brandon sorry.

They can post in the account forum if help needed.
This forum isn't very and the reason why popular forums are "popular" is by using this 10 posts for PM tactic to get posts.
And if they are nonsense posts then they will get deleted and then still can't rate.

If nonsense posts is a problem then you make each post have to be over a certain length then don't you, you just don't rule out a whole idea just from one little wrong thing. You fix that thing and make the idea usable because this needs to be placed in.

All those suggestions are in all the big forums and they wouldn't be successful without simple ideas like this

I second Jaksa on this subject.

Negative rates to be given regardless of amount of post or wether account is created just for that.

Please accept negatives. If there is anything abusive in negative rating you received, or you think it's not what you deserve from particular user, please do a usual procedure (contact mod team).

PS. We might add this for posting a thread (least 5 comments to be posted before you can post a thread). That would stop spambots from joining and posting spam messages (not the ones that can detect rules, aka smart-bots).

Hey,

Most successful forums have restrictions for 10 posts and that is one reason why they remain popular, I think you should re-consider other things like this in the forum because it gets users more active other than just logging in and rating someone negative or sending PM's unless the are legit people wanting to participate in the forums, and if they are willing 10 posts is nothing to prove that so shouldn't be a big issue for them.

This is not thread about my negative rate, I don't care all that much but it isn't good forum managing for that to be allowed so I am here suggesting and you are rejecting a very good idea :/

Well, I guess you have another "Mind" on these things I completely don't understand and isn't working.

Yes Of course, Having to do 10 posts makes you post like your here for.

They wouldn't be a normal member if they are just going to come on here to PM or Rate someone would it because we are here to post so it shouldn't matter then after 10 posts you can think about other features involved on the forum and then start using them as you would be familiar with the forum by then and aren't a bot or fake member.

As I said, most of forums I have seen enable 10 posts limitation to avoid spambots. It may include just posts, or posts, PM's and any other activity. I don't see rating limitation as a main priority task, which I have already said as well.
